We are excited to get things rolling. Some of the goals for SFTU are:
- Fundraising: We will be hosting a bluegill tournament at Charles Fork Lake in April
- Stream Restoration: We have identified the upper Gauley River as a target area for restoration
- Angling Improvement: We want to grow the visibility of angling in the central WV area, teach fly fishing, and encourage children/women angling.
- Policy Influence: Sal font TU will monitor policy and provide input to the WV Council of Trout Unlimited to influence fisheries management policy at a statewide level and directly where it impacts the local level.
