Cub Scout Pack 437 The Sal font Chapter Bluegill Tournament is now officially on the WV REAP Make It Shine April Statewide Cleanup as we help our local community of Spencer to clean up Charles Fork Lake. While not a trout fishery, SFTU believes in giving back to the community while raising funds and while encouraging fishing with our youth. Funds raised from this event will be used toward trout conservation and restoration projects in Central West Virginia. In addition, the Spencer Cub Scouts Pack 437 will be involved in the SFTU Bluegill Tournament as they earn their Fishing Beltloops and engage in a watershed service project in assisting SFTU with the trash cleanup. On Friday, April 25 (Arbor Day) they will also be engaging in a watershed service project by planting trees to stabilize streambanks on Spring Creek near Spencer - Way to go Pack 437! It is important for us to engage and involve these future conservation champions in TU as some of them may go on to become great anglers and TU leaders.
